I think about this all the time

This freakin' dress. It's been a few years since Atonement came out, but it has not left my dressing values. I liked the film too, usually I hate romance films that are sad (that includes you, The Notebook). I'm not going to give away the ending (they die) if you have not seen it, but last semester I had my roommates watch it and they cried themselves to sleep and then were depressed for about a week. Whoops. Anyways, WWII movies are clever.

Best fight EVER

In the fall of 2006, I had the pleasure of being close friends to Julian and Sona. Their hobbies included skateboarding, log racing, drumming, studying chemistry, and WRESTLING.
Luckily for me, they always put a little performance on for me.

Tonight is the 20th year anniversary of the premier episode of THE SIMPSONS!!!! I grew up with this family.

My favorite episodes include "Who Killed Mr. Burns", episodes involving Side-Show Bob, Mr. Plow, and Homer inadvertently being baptized ("Kids, get your asses out here, we're good parents now!"), and the episode when Lisa becomes vegetarian. There are more, but since there are 20 years worth of episodes, I cannot remember many of them.

Soul sacrifice

OMFG. OMFG. OMFG. Like the 1970s, I don't think I think the 1960s was quite my decade to make things happen, but Santana's performance at Woodstock would have to be an exception. Since seeing this on TV for the first time at age 5, I have always believed that Santana's "Soul Sacrifice" was BY FAR the best performance of all of Woodstock 1969- sorry Jimi, Grateful Dead, Janis, The Who, Sly & his family, Jefferson Airplane, etc, but come on! Michael Shrieve was a baby lion; absolutely breathtaking, take no prisoners, and a definition of prodigy. Though I have a soft spot for drummers, he makes me want to be about 16 agaIn. Creepy.
I can't believe that it's been over 40 years!! Did anyone see the "History of Woodstock" on the History channel last summer? Damn good, huh?

Choosing these songs have been quite distressful, music is really I have to live for nowadays, so I hope I didn't make too many mistakes. IT'S THE MOTHERFUCKING D-R-E!

"Dr. Dre mothafucka!" This song, I believe, deserves its own post for one of the best songs of the decade. Snoop Dogg is simply the bee's knees and the video is the quintessential American millennium music video with all the strippers and ridiculous attire. 2001 was an odd year for taste and elegance. If you want to see anyone, including me, perform some truly glorious dirty dancing, play this song! Snoop Dogg is my kind of dude.

In a heated discussion with my friend, Andrew Ting, we both agree that "that would make good reality tv" if I were coupled with Snoop. People, help me make this happen!

He and his leading lady/wife of La Strada and Nights of Cabria, Giulietta Masin, who only died only four months after him of lung cancer.


I beat feet over to the Jeu de Paume the other day for a glance at the Fellini exhibit. Trés, trés bon! One of my favorite directors honored in my favorite city- I'm a lucky little girl.
